Dear valued customers,

Purity Names was formed to give you a family friendly choice when it came to who you do business within registering domain names and hosting websites.

Due to recent increases in regulatory requirements and costs as well as economic headwinds, we have made the difficult decision to cease operations effective close of business July 27, 2020.
Below are some FAQs to help you through this transition:

What will happen to my domain name and hosting?

To support our customers through this transition, Purity Names has entered into an agreement with Domain The Net, an ICANN accredited registrar, to transfer all customer accounts to them.
All domain name registrations will still be valid for the remainder of the registration period and all prepaid hosting packages will be honored. To learn more about Domain The Net visit

What if I want to move to a different registrar?

Just like now, you can do so at any time. But if you do decide to transfer, we would ask that you hold off until after the transfer of accounts to Domain The Net as to minimize any technical difficulties you might experience. If you initiate a transfer prior to July 27 and experience technical difficulties, there is no guarantee that we will be able to assist you after July 27. Domain The Net will only be able to provide support for transfers initiated once your account has been migrated to them.

Will I pay more with Domain The Net?

If you paid for more than one year of registration, your registration will be valid for the entire term of the registration, with no increase in costs. When it comes time to renew your domain, it will do so at prices set by Domain The Net. These are currently similar to the pricing at Purity Names.
